Sewa Bharati honours talented economically deprived students

UTTARAKHAND unit of Sewa Bharati honoured talented and studious students of Sewa Bastis on October 10. Chief guest on the occasion was Shri Prem Budakoti. According to Sewa Bharati district president Shri Jai Narayan Agarwal, 50 students from classes I to VIII including 3 students who scored above 90 per cent, 16 students who scored above 80 per cent, 18 students who scored above70 per cent and 13 students who scored above 60 per cent, were honoured.

Umesh Mishra, who won the first prize by scoring above 90 per cent is a student of Engineering from IIT Roorkie and is an orphan. He got a scholarship from Sewa Bharati. Second award went to Himani Verma, who scored 92 per cent while Aditi was third with 90 per cent. He said Sewa Bharati has 22 centres all over the State where economically deprived students are provided free coaching. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prem Budakoti said the Sewa Bharati always focused on well-being of others.
