VHP honours Salim who chased Jama Masjid terrorists

DELHI unit of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on September 25 honoured Salim Ali who chased the Jama Masjid terrorists on September 19, in New Delhi. Shankaracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati honoured him with a shawl and a coconut at a function. He was also awarded with a cash prize of Rs 21,000 for his daring chase of the armed shooters. Speaking on the occasion, the Shankaracharya said if the youth like Salim come forward to protect the country, no terrorist can stay in the country.

VHP vice president Shri Omprakash Singhal said the VHP is feeling proud to honour the youth who saved the life of many people and chased the gunmen who had come to create terror in the national capital. State VHP president Shri Swadeshpal Gupta appealed to the residents to come forward against anti-social elements and make the city crime and terror free. The wife, children and relatives of Salim Ali were also present on the occasion.
