THE Church and the Christian community have in recent times become victims of the jehadi-CPM gang up. Both in the issue of ‘Love-Jehad’ and in the chopping of the hands of Prof. TJ Joseph, Christians were the worst affected.
Out of the 4000 girls missing in Kerala, where ‘Girl Missing’ complaints have been filed in various Police Stations of Kerala, 600 are Christian girls. Just like poor Hindu girls, poor Christian girls have also fallen victims to the ‘Love-Jehad’. Using Pak-printed counterfeit notes, jehadi youths lure them in the name of love and take them to flashy high-end restaurants in luxury cars. They are given costly presents and dresses, married and then exported to Kashmir and PoK for Jehad against India, U.S. and Israel.
For the past four and a half years, the church and its educational institutions have been at the receiving end of the CPM. Bishops and Arch Bishops have been called ‘Despicable Characters’. Sitaram Yechury warns Churches against uniting against CPM.
To counter the attacks against the Church and believers, all the church functions like CMI, CSI, Catholics, Syrian Catholic and Orthodox Church have formed a “Christian Democratic Union.”
At its first meeting held at Kozhikode it says ‘Christian are facing stiff challenges from Jehadis. They convert our people after offering many promises. They are later sent to Kashmir to fight Indian Army. Hands and legs of Christians are being chopped off like fire-wood. CPM is hunting Christians and their institutions. CPM needs the support of the community whose population growth always shows an upward trend (Muslims)’.
The Christian Democratic Union hopes to concentrate on the areas where maximum cases of ‘Love-Jehad’ were reported among Christians.
Christians are feeling the heat of Jehadi – CPM gang up and are willing to co-operate with the only organisation that has stood up to both.
