Bajrang Dal to launch mass agitation against proposed Vedanta University

BAJRANG Dal has threatened to launch mass movement against Odisha government on providing Lord Jagannath’s 13 hundred acres of land to Vedanta Company for building a University. According to newly appointed Bajrang Dal chief Shri Subhash Chauhan more than one lakh youth will assemble at Puri to press upon the demand.”By giving Lord Jagannath’s land to Vedanta Company, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has betrayed the Hindus. Bajrang Dal will oppose it. Chief Minister should undo the decision, otherwise Bajarang Dal will be forced to come to the streets,” warned Shri Chauhan. “Youths from Odisha and four neighbouring states including Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chhattishgarh and Andhra Pradesdh will be mobilised to protect Jagannath dharma and Jagannath culture from such onslaughts. Bajrang Dal will force the government to change its decision,” Shri Chauhan added. He said Bajrang Dal has already started awareness programmes in Odisha on this issue. It organised a State level seminars in Puri on this issue recently. Bajrang dal will hold this type of seminars in every district headquarters. Lakhs of leaflets on this issue have been distributed in different parts of the State.
