A meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Maharashtra Prant was organised in Pandharpur on June 21. Addressing the workers noted Kathavachak Shri Vivek Ghalsasi stressed the need to spread the work of Grahak Panchayat in rural areas. He also called upon the workers to stay away from allurement and fear while working for the organisation. National general secretary Shri Somnath Khedkar, Prant president Shri Dilip Gadake, organising secretary Veenatai Pandit, secretary Shri Dhananjay Gaikwad were also present on the occasion.
Shri Ghalsasi further said there should be regular change in the organisation with the changing times and needs. He said the efforts of the workers should be infused to get justice for the victims. Local MLA from Pandharpur Shri Bharat Bhalke urged the Grahak Panchayat activists to take up the cause of farmers as they are being cheated more.
