“WE wish to develop a society where everybody possesses good individual character, high moral values and the developmental schemes are implemented with complete transparency. It is due to lack of good samskars that the incidents like leakage of country’s vital information by persons like Madhuri Gupta take place. Only imparting modern education is not enough, samskars are the most important thing,” said noted economist and Uttar Kshetra Sanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Dr Bajranglal Gupt. He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of first and second year special Sangh Shiksha Varga in New Delhi on June 19.

Swayamsevaks above the age of 40 years underwent organisational training at the Varg organised at Mahashaya Chunilal Saraswati Bal Mandir, Harinagar. A total of 164 swayamsevaks from 119 places participated in first year Varg while a total of 166 swayamsevaks from 130 places participated in the second year Varg. Many leading Sangh adhikaris including Sarkaryavah Shri Bhaiyaji Joshi guided the swayamsevaks. A total of 32 Shikshaks and 50 Prabandhaks were also present in the Varg for full 20 day period. Noted industrialist of Haryana Shri Rakesh Jain presided over the concluding ceremony.

Referring to the organisation of such training camps every year, Dr Gupt said such practices helps the swayamsevaks to remember the eternal principles and values of the organisation and also helps in regaining energy so that one can overcome the weaknesses. We have been doing it for the last 80 years and the objective of this tapasya is all round progress of the nation and the society,” said Dr Gupt.

“Eleven crore people in America have 120 crore credit cards. It has become their habit to consume after borrowing from others. On the other hand, we Indians save 35 per cent of our GDP which is out strength. Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam also says that we would become an economic super power with the mantra of ‘India 2020’. Recently, an Indian has purchased the East India Company. Indians are very forward in wisdom and intellect. It is due to our hard work that we have this type of extraordinary talent and wisdom. Fearing of it America has now toughened the Visa rules. We have to utilise our strength and capacity for good of the world and not for exploitation of anyone,” he added.

He said India has been the worshiper of daiviya shakti (godly power). We salute the good force and use it for the welfare of all. Derailing the trains, killing innocent people in bomb blasts as the Maoists and Naxalites are doing, represents the asuri shakti (demonic power). The increase in godly power will make the good forces strong and fearless. The problem of terrorism will not be resolved through a weak administration. It requires right decision,” Shri Gupt added. Quoting Swami Chidanand Muni of Parmath Mission Ashram, Rishikesh, he said the differences of caste, sect, community, etc. make us weak and we all should work together.

The first year general Sangh Shiksha Varga of Delhi Prant was held at Sewa Dham from June 6 to 26. A total of 254 shiksharthis including 11 from other Prants underwent organisational training in the Varg.
