FIRST year Sangh Siksha Varga of Uttarbang Prant began at Balurghat on June 6. A total of 94 shikshartihs are undergoing training at the Varga. They include five post graduate and 20 graduate. They have represented 65 places from North Bengal of Paschimbang. The Varga will conclude on June 26.
Swami Anupamananda, president of Bharat Sevashram Sangh, Kumarganj, inaugurated the Varga by lighting the traditional lamp before the pictures of Bharatmata, Dr Hedgewar and Shri Guruji. The inaugural speech was delivered by Prant Karyavah Shri Vidrohi Sarkar. Sah Prant Karyavah Shri Pradip Adhikari and Prant Pracharak Shri Gobind Ghosh were also present.
Shri Jagadindra Narayan Sarkar is the Vargadhikari and Shri Dhaneswar Mandal is Mukhya Shikshak. The school where the Varga has been organised is managed by a committee comprising of the leaders from various political parties. The permission to organise the camp has been granted only due to the good will of RSS. It is an indication of the sign of change taking place in the State now-a-days.
RSS Sahsarkaryavah Shri Duttatreya Hosabale has already visited the Varga and guided the shiksharthis. Kshetra Pracharak Shri Adwaitacharan Dutta, Sah Kshetra Pracharak Shri Ajit Mahapatra, veteran Pracharak Shri Keshav Rao Dixit also visited the Varga.
