They made elaborate arrangements-comfortable boarding, lodging and health care facilities-for the participants.
The three-day-long brain-storming session characterised by open and frank discussions and deliberations concluded with the adopting of the two following important resolutions with a note of unanimity.
1. Article 370 must be scrapped to integrate Jammu and Kashmir with the mainstream of nation. The discriminatory and anti-nation provision of this Article creates a big barrier in the merging of Jammu and Kashmir in an unqualified manner with rest of India.
2. Secondly, a strict ban on cow slaughter be imposed to prevent the cruel killings of the holy cow who is worshipped by millions of Hindus as the goddess and its killing means hurting the religious sentiments of the overwhelming population of this country. It was further decided that cruelty to any kind of animal must be stopped and those guilty of cruelty to animal must be awarded the severest punishment. The government must ensure the proper care, nurturing and healthy growth of various animals that contribute to the growth of the rural economy. Moreover the spirit of India resides in the villages, so focus needs to be shifted to ensure the faster growth of rural India.
A few personalities whose role was tremendously commendable for the success of the Pratinidhi Sabha were Shri Devi Parshad Bhardwaj, Shri Krishan Baveja, Shri Rajeshji, Shri Rupeshji, Shri Krishanji, Shri Pritamji, Shri Vipinji, Shri Ram Mehar, Dr Rajinder Rana, Shri Ritesh, Dr Virender and many other RSS swayamsevaks.
