“THERE is no harm in learning any of the foreign languages, but while learning them we should not cut ourselves from our roots. Since the cultural environment of foreign languages is different from our languages, we need to be careful,” said national executive member of RSS Shri Indresh Kumar. He was addressing a function organised by Kreeda Bharati in Mumbai on January 26. Chairman of Rajkot Cooperative Bank Dr Ravindra Sanghavi was also present on the occasion.

After hoisting the tricolour at the function Shri Indresh Kumar appealed to the people to be careful of terrorism, Naxalism and other foreign conspiracies aimed at disturbing the country and all should work for peace and social harmony in the country. He said the Gate Way of India in Mumbai was used by the British to loot India and now the terrorists are using it to attack the country. The terrorists of 26/11 too used this route. There is a need to change the name of Gate Way of India to Gate way to World Peace to restore peace all over the world.

Shri Indreh Kumar said everyone should make progress but the progress should be based on our values of life. The development away from the Indian values of life would lead the world to destruction and today’s problems of global warming, pollution, corruption, price rise, crime and poverty are the outcome of the western developmental model. He also paid tribute to Baba Saheb Ambedkar on the occasion. (VSK, Mumbai)
