“WHATEVER modern education you impart to your child in any of the educational institution, but ensure to impart them value education based on Bharatiya Sanatan Sanskriti so that they remain committed to the Bharatiya traditions throughout their life. The first adverse impact of the so-called modern education being witnessed in the society today is the neglect of parents by children. It is nothing but shame on our country,” said Pt. Jaikumar Sharma, head of Bhavya Jagjanani Darbar, Loni, Ghaziabad. He was addressing a gathering of devotees on 16th foundation day of the Darbar on January 23.

It is to be noted that Bhavya Jagjanani Darbar has emerged as a prime Siddha Peeth in the region which apart from spreading Hindu samskars is eradicating many social evils. Lakhs of devotees visit the Darbar every year and over one lakh people have abandoned the bad habits of chewing tobacco, taking alcohol and other addictions.

Shri Jaikumar Sharma, who is popularly known as Jalwale Guruji, said sending old parents in old age homes is the insult of our Bharatbhumi. It must not happen in our country. “There are many people who recite Jai Mata Ki for hours in temples everyday. But when they reach home they insult even their own mother. There are majority of parents who are unhappy with their children today. Not only this, the Ganga and cow are called mother in our country. But what is the condition of both of them today? Ganga has become the most polluted river and the cow is slaughtered very mercilessly in modern slaughter houses every day. The day is not far when we would see the cow in calendars as very shortly she may lose her existence,” he said.

He appealed to the devotees visiting the Darbar to ensure that liquor must not be served in any of their family functions. Swami Paranand Teertha appealed to the devotees to protect the cows and make their children religious. Swami Sewanand Giri Maharaj presided over the function. Many leading industrialist and leaders belonging to social and political organisations were also present on the occasion.
