“The foreign cultural onslaughts are weakening our family system. We are safe only till our family is united. Apart from it, it is need of the hour to strengthen the social harmony and fight against the forces trying to divide us in the name of language, religion, caste, etc,” said RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. He was addressing a Sadbhavana meeting in Jodhpur on January 13. A total of 140 senior leaders representing various communities of Hindu society participated in the meeting which was organised at Maheshwari Bhavan. The leaders from Jaisalmer, Badmer, Pali, Jalore, Sirohi, Nagor, Bikaner, Shri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Jodhpur Mahanagar participated in the meeting.
Shri Bhagwat said there are certain forces, which are bent upon destroying our centuries old family system and there are constant cultural attacks on us. He called upon the people to be wary from these attacks and foil all such game plans. He said Bharat is a country with full diversity but despite this diversity we all are one. He said we can strengthen the social harmony by promoting the good things present in all the communities. The social values in all the communities are based on truth, non-violence, oneness and the message of all great personalities too is same. Even the feeling of untouchability has been discouraged by all. We should promote all these good things, he said.
Shri Bhagwat said the RSS has been working to strengthen the social harmony and all should support this endeavour. “Love and respect are two prominent points for social harmony and all should follow them,” he added.
Later, addressing a gathering of uniformed Swayamsevaks and general public at Adarsh Vidya Mandir on January 14, Shri Bhagwat stressed the need to review the Policy of the Union Government of having friendly relations with neighbouring countries as our neighbouring counties are constantly creating trouble at the borders. “When Bharat extends the hand of friendship to them, they reply with bullets. Such countries should be taught a strong message in their own language,” he said expressing concern over the increasing burden of Bangladeshi infiltrators over the Indian economy. He said the issue of Kashmir could not be resolved with the help of America as it does not want to get it resolved.
Coming down heavily over the growing vote bank politics the RSS Sarsanghachalak exhorted that exhorted that the politics today is increasing separatism in the society. He called upon the people to foil the game plans of the politicians who are dividing the society for gaining vested interest.
Later, Shri Bhagwat also visited Sewadham hostel run by Sewa Bharati Jodhpur and interacted with the students studying there. He also had meal with the students.
