Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Prof Prem Kumar Dhumal lauded the service activities of Kalyan Ashram. Addressing the concluding ceremony of its 14th national Vanvasi sports meet in Solan, he said the state government appreciates the initiative of Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram promoting Indian sports among Vanvasi communities and bringing them into the mainstream. “We should appreciate the sewa karya of Kalyan Ashram being done in remote areas of the country,” he said announcing a grant of Rs 2 lakh for the promotion of rural sports through Himgiri Kalyan Ashram.
Health Minister Dr Rajeev Bindal, Swami Shiv Sevanand Maharaj of RK Mission, industrialist Shri Khajan Singh Bansal and Kalyan Ashram national president Shri Jagdev Ram Oraon were also present on the occasion.
