Thirty-fifth National Group Song Competition of Bharat Vikas Parishad was held in Visakhapattanam from November 28-29. A total of 42 teams in Hindi and 33 in regional songs categories participated in the competition. Inaugurating the competition, Shri Ajeya Kallam, chairman of Visakhapattanam Port Trust, said he was highly impressed with the projects taken up by the Parishad. He commended the work of the Parishad in organising such programmes which instill discipline and the spirit of nationalism among the youth. Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Vice Admiral Shri Anup Singh, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Eastern Naval Command said, he had gone through the Parishad’s website. He was highly impressed with the vision and mission as well as the activities of the Parishad.
