Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat decided to file a Petition to Parliament against price rise in February next year. The decision to this effect was taken at the national executive of the Panchayat that met in New Delhi on October 4. The petition would be presented before the Parliament after conducting an awareness drive all over the country. The Panchayat clearly said that the prime reason of the price rise is wrong policies of the government. The national executive also discussed the organisational matters and decided to organise five training camps in November and December at Patna, Bengaluru, Nasik, Haridwar and Ahemdabad.
