Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee Research Foundation, a leading nationalist think tank, will organise a national seminar on ‘India’s Northern Frontiers: Challenges to National Security’ at Jammu University on June 23.

It’s being organised to mark the martyrdom day of Dr Mookerjee who had spearheaded a movement to demand full integration of Kashmir with rest of India. According to Shri Tarun Vijay, chairman of the Foundation, the seminar will be attended by leading defence experts including a former ambassador. Well-known defence analyst Prof. P Stobdan is the coordinator for the seminar.

In the same afternoon, a grand convention on nationalism and the legacy of Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee with special reference to J&K issue will be held. It will be addressed by RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri Mohan Bhagwat. Guest of honour will be BJP national president Shri Rajnath Singh and it will be presided over by Shri Thupstan Chhewang, president of UT Morcha, Ladakh.
