Tribute to Sant Arvindananda

Sant Arvindananda who was popularly known as Jatta Swami passed away in Mahendragarh, Haryana, on April 10. He had become a saint after quitting the job of army in 1953. He came into the contact of Shri Guruji and Dada Saheb Apte during the cow protection movement of 1967. Later, he shifted to Las Angeles in 1974 and preached the Vedas and Shri Guru Grantha Saheb. He joined the Rashtriya Sikh Sangat in 1992-93 and guided the workers in the training camps. He assisted Swami Paramanand Maharaj during the Khalsa Srijan Yatra in 1999. He was the elder brother of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat founder Sardar Chiranjiv Singh.
