RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri KS Sudarshan condoled the death of veteran BJP leader and six times MP from Jaipur Giridhari Lal Bhargava. Shri Bhargava passed away in Ahmedabad on March 8. He was 72. He suffered a cardiac arrest. He was renominated by the BJP for his seventh term in coming Lok Sabha elections recently. He is survived by his wife, a son and three daughters.

He was staying at a hotel in Ahmedabad, when he suddenly complained of pain in his chest in the morning of March 8. Doctor was summoned immediately who gave him the first aid. He was later shifted to the Apollo hospital, where doctors declared him dead. In his condolence message released from Nagpur Shri Sudarshan said: ?I used to cite the example of the simplicity of Giridharilalji to the workers active in the field of politics. The secret of his consecutive victory from Jaipur was that he knew most of the workers by their names. He used to be known as ajaatshatru due to this habit. He was also a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for four times. There will be hardly any occasion when he did not meet me during my visit to Jaipur or even I passed through the Jaipur railway station by a train. Recently when I met him at the station I drew his attention to a mistake in Hindi sentence written on the station. He said I would not find this mistake when I visit Jaipur again. Interestingly, I did not find that mistake during my next visit to Jaipur. The workers should follow his footsteps if they wish to be popular like him and also serve the people in true sense.?
