RSS National Executive Member Shri Indresh Kumar said the time has come when all the people believing in untouchability need to atone for their misdeeds. Apart from leading agitations against various social evils, a separate prayaschit andolan should also be launched. But at the same time, he said, there should be no harm to the national unity while doing all these things. He was speaking at a function held in New Delhi on birth anniversary of Sant Ravidas on February 9 that was organised by Rashtravadi Ambedkarvadi Mahasangh (RAM).
Shri Indresh Kumar further said that a patriot can always work for a healthy nation. He appealed to the RAM leaders to hold such discussions in different parts of the country. He added that RSS talks about mamata before bringing samata in the society and believes that only by restoring harmony in the society the nation can make progress. National convener of RAM and former Union Minister Dr Sanjay Paswan said about 50 organisations are going to join hands with the Mahasangh. Shri Vivek Kumar of JNU, national president of Bahujan Diversity Mission Shri H.L. Dusadh, Prof. Rajkumar Phulwaria of Delhi University and Prof. Sushma Yadav of Indian Institute of Public Administration also spoke on the occasion.
