Inaugurating the three-day national ?Hindu Jagran March? meet at Thiruvananthapuram on February 6, RSS ideologue and former Akhil Bharatiya Bouddhik Pramukh Shri Ranga Hari said the world was realising the significance and uniqueness of Hindu Samskar and Sanatana Dharma, as the only solution to current global crisis. Puja was conducted and chanting of Vedas and Gayathri Mantra were invoked in US Senate. In Canada Diwali was celebrated in Parliament House. The world community has thus realising that Sanatana Dharma has a solution to every problem facing the universe, be it terrorism, global warming, pollution, diseases, economic crisis and intolerance, Shri Ranga Hari added.

?Even political parties in Bharat that usually resort to Hindu-baiting have realised the importance of Hindu thought. The square gold coloured prime probe of ?Chandrayan? had tricolour on three sides and the ?Somasukth? of Rigveda (1/10/1) on the fourth side. We must remember that it is not the NDA Government, but the UPA regime which did it.?

Shri Ranga Hari said that when Lord Ram was in vanavas, the maharshis went to him and requested destruction of asuras who wrecked havoc on them. The rishis said they had forsaken homes, violence and anger and hence they could not act on the asuras. Similar was the relation between Shivaji and Samarth Ramdas. Today, we need ?Shajan log? who are also ?Samarth? and vice-versa. A ?Shajan? who is weak becomes a nabumsak and a ?Samarth? with no control over body or mind becomes a goonda. Shri Guruji was of the opinion that the Hindus should have conquerable character and conquering might. Shri Guruji called upon the Hindu Samaj to become ?Jajyalyaman?, he added

Shri Ranga Hari said that the Hindu Society always faced national, regional and economic threats. Islam and Christianity are semetic religions with foundations on intolerance. ?Only we are right and only we can take you to heaven?, is their ideology. Pseudo-seculars are spreading the idea, all are one. But Hindu Dhara is totally different from others. Our concept and beliefs on god, creation, women, holy books, nature, universe etc. are totally different from others. But we should not think that only we are liberal and others are blinkered. Hindu is liberal by rule, Christian by exception and Islam by rarity, he said.

In Kerala, a ?Community Bible? has come with foot notes quoting Upanishads. Similarly change is coming among Muslims, with opposition to terrorism and issues affecting Hindu sentiments like public butchering of cows etc.

The Hindu Jagran March meet, umbrella organisation of various Hindu groups operating in the country, dwelt on terrorism, conversion and social ills. 300 delegates from all over Bharat attended the meet which was held at Mata Amrithanandamayi Ashram. A rally was held on February 8 which was also addressed by Shri Indresh Kumar among others.
