The police investigations into the death of four Keralite jehadis in encounter with security forces in Kashmir and the reports that 300 jehadis from Kerala are in the ranks of Lashkar and Hizbul, are bringing out frightful realities of the well-entrenched jehadi network in Kerala, especially in Kannur, Malappuram and Kochi districts.

Interrogations and Narco-analysis on terror kingpins Abdul Jaleel and Faisal by State police, IB and RAW reveal the deep-rooted jehadi game plan of ISI in sending indoctrinated criminals of Kerala not only to Kashmir but also to swelve the ranks of extremist organisations banned in Pakistan, consequent to global ?War on Terror?. Investigations also reveal that Lashkar Commander Abdulla used to visit Kerala regularly to recruit cadres for Kashmir and Pakistan, as per ISI instructions. The four Keralites killed in Kashmir were trained in Pakistan. Moreover ISI trained Haji Ismail on instructions from ISI and with the help of Dawood Ibrahim came to Kerala via Dubai, travelled all over the state and met leaders of NDF/PDP for sending jehadis to Kashmir and Pakistan.

The former RAW Chief and Former DGP of Kerala Hormis Tharakan said in Kochi that isolated incidents of youth going to Pak and getting training started in 1992, and it was well known to police and both CPM and Congress led regimes. Aluva Basheer, former SIMI president, now in Saudi Arabia was the first Keralite who took training in Pak. Although they were isolated incidents, this trend of hundreds going for jehad is alarming, he said.

Most of the 100-odd persons linked to the terror export, arrested by the police belong to either jehadi NDF, Madani'sPDP or are from former SIMI cadre. Even revolvers have been seized from the houses of NDF cadres. Investigations also reveal that Hyderabad and Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu are two centres from where the Kerala operations are co-ordinated.

As per revelations of Abdul Jaleel and Faisal, the mastermind of these entire operations is T. Nazeer, who has gone into hiding following the expose. Nazeer, an extremist with Pak training, has over a dozen cases against him including attempt to kill former CPM Chief Minister E.K. Nayanar and burning of Tamil Nadu bus in Kalamassery, demanding release of Madani. An activist of Abdul Nazer Madani'sISS and PDP, he was bodyguard of Madani after his release from Coimbatore prison. Despite him being a wanted criminal, police didn'tkeep a close surveillance on him. The police investigations clearly reveal the evil hands of NDF, Madani'sPDP and banned SIMI in this terror export to Kashmir and Pak. With Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on a US tour to attract investments to Kerala (crumbling economy financing anti-US CPM regime?), Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammedkutty is officiating as Home Minister. He has clearly stated that there is no idea to ban NDF or PDP despite piling evidences against them. Moreover he has trivialised the issue by saying that certain unemployed youth and criminal elements, brainwashed and by the lure of money had gone to Kashmir and Pak, not understanding the consequences.

The Congress, Muslim League and BJP have blamed the CPM'shunger for Muslim votes as the main reason for the growth of jehadi terror in Kerala. The Muslim League has demanded ban on NDF.

BJP president P.K. Krishnadas has demanded CBI enquiry into all cases of blasts and land transactions in Kerala in past two decades. Krishnadas demanded ban on NDF, PDP and arrest of Madani. He charges that the police was torpedoing this case on CPM instructions. Most of the arrested people are booked on bailable offences like arms act, unlawful activities etc. instead of sedition, waging war on state and National Security Act. He said there was a quid-pro-co between CPM and NDF/PDP. ?CPM will get Muslim votes in 2009 polls and all cases against jehadis will be swept away and there wont be any ban on them. NDF and PDP can happily go on with their terror export and inland terror activities.?
