Continuing its murderous tirade against the RSS, CPM hit-squad butchered to death RSS mandal sharirik pramukh R. Renjith (26) 17th October, at Mannanthala in the outskirts of the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram.

At 5.15 am when Renjith was opening his vegetable/milk shop, a seven member CPM goon gang who were lying in wait in an Omni van, pounced on him, attacking him with swords and knives. Although Renjith tried to resist them, he was overpowered. He was cut on the neck and the back side of his head. He was stabbed all over his body. His fingers were cut and removed. His face and neck were cut open. In all, there were 49 cuts on his body. After ensuring his death, the gang left the spot. The police arrived and took his body to Medical College for post-mortem.

By the evening thousands of swayamsevak, supporters and RSS leaders including Vibhag Pracharak, Sudarsan, received the body and took it in a procession to his house, where all paid last respects and then cremated. Several congress leaders including MLA M.A. Waheed paid respects to Renjith. A one-day strike was also observed in Thiruvananthapuram.

Just like illicit liquor, the CPM has a big stake in the thriving real estate and land mafia, in Kerala. The high density of population and increasing demand for flats, makes the ?flat developers? take the help of goons of CPM to threaten non-willing owners of agricultural land. Now, the CPM, has directly gone into the real-estate business and many of its top leaders including Pinarayi Vijayan are benami owners and developers, i.e. they are the real land-mafia.
