Veteran Sangh Pracharak and founding father of ABVP, National Teachers Union and College Teachers Union leader in Kerala, P.K. Chandrasekhar, passed away on October 2 in Kozhikode due to multiple diseases. He was 79. A Pracharak since 1957, he was instrumental in attracting students to the Sangh and moulded them to take leadership of the Sangh associated organisations including ABVP, BJP etc. Many of the present day BJP leaders like Shri V. Muraleedharan, Shri P.K. Krishnadas are his find. RSS and BJP leaders like Shri K.K. Balram, Shri P. Gopalankutty Master, Shri R. Venugopal, Shri Ranga Hari, Shri P.E.B. Menon, Shri A.R. Mohanan, Shri A. Gopalakrishnan, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, etc. paid their respect to the departed soul.
