Veteran Sangh Pracharak and former Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Prem Chand Goel turned 70 and also completed 50 years of his Pracharak life. On this occasion, he performed a pilgrimage to Kedarnath and Badrinath temples in Uttarakhand. Kshetra Sanghachalak Dr Bajranglal Gupt, one of the directors of Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Limited Shri Biharilal Singhal, managing director of Sadhna TV Shri Rakesh Gupta, BJP leader Shri Shanmugnathan and senior Pracharak Shri Ravindraji also accompanied Shri Goel during this pilgrimage. They all prayed for long life of Shri Goel and performed pooja at the temples. They wished that Shri Goel should continue to guide the swayamsevaks as he did during the last 50 years as a Sangh Pracharak.

After this three-day pilgrimage, Shri Goel was requested to give permission to organise his grand birthday function but he refused and said to live a simple life. As Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Goel played a key role in spreading the network of service projects across the country and accelerated the service activities. Despite being sick, he toured the whole country and guided the workers engaged in the service activities.
