Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and Pratinidhi Mandal of Rashtra Sevika Samiti strongly condemned the cancellation of land to Amarnath Shrine Board in Kashmir and demanded immediate restoration of the land to the Board. In a resolution adopted at the Karyakarini meeting in Nagpur on July 23, the Samiti warned the UPA government not to repeatedly play with the sentiments of the Hindu society and stop treating the Hindus as second grade citizens. In a separate resolution, the Samiti also appealed to the Prime Minister to control inflation immediately. Delegates from all parts of the country participated in the meeting.
Addressing the Karyakarini and Pratinidhi Mandal, Smt. Pramilatai Medhe, Pramukh Sanchalika of the Samiti, said that the work with selfless feeling develops organisational skills among the workers and only then the organisation assumes an effective shape. She stressed the need to protect and strengthen the joint family system of the country. She said ideals could not be developed in the absence of cooperation. She appealed to the delegates to follow the ideals of goddesse Kali, who punishes the evil forces.
