May and June are the months of training for the RSS swayamsevaks. Training camps known as Sangh Shiksha Vargas, are held all over the country during these months.

A total of 67 Vargas have been held all over the country this year. It includes a third year Varga held in Nagpur, four second year special camps for swayamsevaks above the age of 40 years and some special first year Vargas. The RSS organised about 50 first and second year training camps for tarun swayamsevaks across the country. One camp was held in Manipur also. When asked why special camps for some swayamsevaks, RSS Sarkaryavah Shri Mohan Bhagwat explained: ?The swayamsevaks above the age of 40 years are more active in the society and the Sangh work. Most of them are active in sewa projects, rural development activities, Sampark and various other developmental activities. They have a respect in the society due to their age and experience. Keeping in view their nature of work and requirements they need to be imparted special training?.
