RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan described the senior Sarvodayi leader Smt. Nirmala Deshpande, as a unique personality who spread the message of social harmony throughout her life. Smt. Deshpande passed away in New Delhi on May 1 at the age of 79 years. Paying tribute the Sarsanghachalak said though, Nirmalatai had the atmosphere of social service in her family, her association with Acharya Vinobaji made the feeling of service more determined. ?She was with Vinobaji during his 40, 000-km-long Bhudan Yatra. She worked for social upliftment throughout her life. She always gave top priority to the national interest while being active in various social organisations. Taking forward the works initiated by Nirmalataiji would be the best tribute to her,? he said in his condolence message.
