One of the founders of Swadeshi Jagran Manch in Bihar and a senior intellectual of economic Prof. Krishnanand passed away at his native village in Madhubani district of Bihar on March 29. He was unwell for the last a few months. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters. Besides the Swadeshi Jagran Manch, Prof. Krishnand also held various responsibilities in Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bharatiya Kisan Sangh and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Paying tribute SJM national convener Shri Murlidhar Rao said Prof. Krishnanada would always be remembered in Swadeshi Jagran Manch for his brilliant speeches. He was professor of Economics in the local college and before getting retirement he was also principal of the college for several months. He was jailed during the Emergency and he encouraged his fellow prisoners in the jail.
