ABVP organises blood donation camp

The Jammu University unit of ABVP organised a blood donation camp in the university campus on April 8. The camp was dedicated to the martyrs of 1857 war of Independence. More than 50 volunteers donated blood on the occasion. Shri Dinesh Gupta, chairman, Citizens Cooperative Bank Ltd was the chief guest, while Shri Sunil Ambekar, national organising secretary of ABVP was the chief speaker. Shri Ambekar dwelt upon the role of youth in nation building. Shri Dinesh Gupta appreciated the ABVP for organising such programmes of national importance. Dr Kum Kum Sharma, HoD Blood Bank, GMC Jammu, motivated the youth to donate blood. Shri Bihari Lal, ABVP North India organising secretary, Shri Narinder Singh, Prant Pramukh and Shri Hari Borikar, state organising secretary, were also present on the occasion.
