In a severe rap on the knuckles of CPM, which is turning Kerala and Kannur into a killing field of RSS-BJP brave-hearts, the Kerala High Court has called for central intervention in Kannur and deployment of central forces to ?end manslaughter which is going on, as a cruel competing sport?.
Justice V. Ramkumar made this landmark observation while ordering a CBI probe into the murder of Muhammed Faisal, who was murdered by CPM goons for deserting it and joining NDF (a jehadi outfit).
Justice Ramkumar observed that the leaders very cunningly escape in this cruel and blood-thirsty game. ?Blessed are those, who are able to die a natural death in Kannur. Kannur district, particularly Thalassery has over the years, become the hot-bed of political violence and carnage of the worst order. Precious lives of fellow mortals are being taken, in the most horrendous manner by rivals, either through party men or by hired assassins. Lethal weapons are procured and stored without any detection. The God given terrestrial life of the poor citizens is determined not by any natural causes, but by the beastly animals in human form, who dwell among as?, the Justice observed.
The Judge remarked that, sad to say, the police have become pawns in the hands of political masters (read Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Pinarayi Vijayan and CPM) and for their own survival, they pander to their blood-thirsty master'scruel instincts.
A fuming Pinarayi, violently reacted stating that the Judge had committed breach of Constitution by stepping into prohibited zone. ?The Judge has made unnecessary remarks and it is a misuse of judicial power. A Judge cannot issue instructions to a Governor and he has trespassed into the maintenance of law and order, which is a state subject,? the CPM state secretary said.
BJP state president P.K. Krishnadas has welcomed the landmark judgement of Justice Ramkumar, and said the BJP-RSS stand has been vindicated. ?For years RSS-BJP have been emphasising that there is a CPM-Police gang-up to destroy RSS in Kerala and the judgement has endorsed the RSS-BJP stand that police are pawns in the hands of CPM. The CPM'spro-Muslim image has also taken a battering since Mohammed Faisal was brutally murdered by CPM, since he left it and joined the NDF. Similar is the case of several RSS cadres, butchered, since they left the CPM and joined the nationalist RSS?, P.K. Krishnadas said. He called for immediate deployment of central forces in Kannur and resignation of the Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, in view of the damaging observations made by the High Court.
The Congress Party and its Leader of Opposition Oomen Chandy have also welcomed the High Court observation and asked for immediate intervention by Governor and deployment of central forces in Kannur.
But for the CPM, which has the thick skin of rhinoceros, hippopotamus, tortoise, alligator etc. etc. fevicoled together, this judicial observation'saction is to be waited and seen.
