The Veda Sansthan organised a three-day workshop on Veda studies for the second time from 26-28 December. The vision of the workshop was to educate Hindi knowing masses, with or without the knowledge of Sanskrit, through the recently evolved and much-tested scientific methodology.
More than 40 participants enrolled themselves for the workshop. Necessary study material in Hindi consisting of 24-pages alongwith other useful information, was provided to the participants.
The course content was based on a Rigveda hymn (I.97) of 8 verses. Dr Manohar Lal Gupt delivered two lecturers on this hymn with reference to physical science.
Dr Abhay Dev Sharma, chairman of Veda Sansthan, not only taught the recitation of verses and the grammatical aspects, but also gave material explanation of the verses wherever necessary. He declared that Veda Sansthan is committed for cultivating the proficiency among the eager recipients in times to come, through a chain of similar workshops in defferent localities of Delhi and neighbouring towns.
