Former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee has described Benazir Bhutto's assassination as a ?big jolt to democracy? in Pakistan. Shri Vajpayee, who as PM had taken the initiative to normalise relations between the two neighbours, said that Bhutto'sabsence would make it all the more difficult to revive the democratic process in Pakistan.
