Human chain in Hyderabad demand protection of Ram Sethu

A 12 km long human chain from Ganesh Temple at Secunderabad to Bhagyalakshmi Temple at Charminar in old city of Hyderabad was organised on December 11 demanding protection of Ram Sethu.

Around 10,000 people participated in the formation of the chain. Chanting bhajans, slogans like Jai Shri Ram; Save Ram Sethu, reverberated the air. Activists from BJP, RSS, VHP, ABVP, BMS, Hindu Vahini and severe other Hindu Parivar organisations and also from general public participated in the chain.

At 3 places along the human chain leaders of the Hindu Organisations explained the importance of protecting Ram Sethu and exhorted the people to get prepared to participate in large numbers in the December 30 rally in Delhi. Three prominent saints also participated in the events at Ganesh Temple of Secunderabad, Shankaracharya of Puri addressed the people and explained the necessity of saving Ram Sethu.  (Samacharbharati, Hyderabad.)
