Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini and Pratinidhimandal meeting of Rashtra Sevika Samiti concluded in Nagpur on July 15. A total of 114 delegates discussed the current problems of the nation for three days at the meeting. The meeting concluded with the presence of former Pramukh Sanchalika Smt. Ushatai.

Speaking at the concluding ceremony, Smt. Pramilatai Medhe, Pramukh Sanchalika of the Samiti, appealed to the delegates to work for the protection of the Bharatiya culture. She said as a seed has to be protected from heat and some useless plants need to be removed from its surroundings, we have to protect the seed of our culture.

Before the meeting, Pramukh Karyavahika Smt Shanti Akka, announced that an extensive village awareness programme would be undertaken in 108 villages, which the Samiti is going to adopt. The meeting also adopted two resolutions. In the first resolution, serious concern was expressed on increasing crimes against women and the government was urged to review the laws and also take strict action to prevent the crimes. In the second resolution, the government has been urged to take immediate steps to curb the menace of naxalism and terrorism.  (FOC)
