Long time ago there lived a crow, who was greatly interested in the welfare of the living beings around it. Whether they liked it or not, it loved giving its ?free? advice to them. It was warned a lot of time by the people, and at times even insulted. But poor crow could never get rid of its old habits.

Time went by, and after the long rainy season, did come the winter. To take cover from the chilling winter, it took shade in a tree, where it had built its nest months before. From its nest, it watched a bunch of monkeys? doing something. With the chill in the weather it cared less, and went on a nap for few hours. After its refreshing nap, it was free again and was just unable to be static. Interestingly, it still saw the same scene before it as it had before going to sleep, of few monkeys trying to do something.

Not wasting more time, it just went closer and asked those monkeys, ?Brother what exactly are you doing?? For which came the answer, ?Can'tyou see the weather is so cold and we are all freezing. We are trying to make fire out of these grasses to give us all a few warmth?? Looking at the monkey?s, who were actually trying to burn the green grass, the crow started to laugh in the utmost pitch and when asked as to why was it laughing, by the monkeys, it explained: ?It'sa green grass and you can never get fire to burn it.?

But monkeys, as with their intuition are, were to care less, and they continued their misadventure, saying, ?Don'tyou dare give your silly advice to us,? when the temperature was dropping steeply. Not wanting them to die of winter, the crow decided to advice, though it knew that it was least welcome.

It cried for hours, ?Don'tdo that it will not work and you will die!? until finally the monkeys got out of their patience and took a rock, only to throw at the crow and kill it.

The crow died its sad death, and the monkey'sits natural death, of the chilling cold.

Moral of the story: Don'tadvice people who are not worthy of it, you may hurt yourself in the process.
