The inaugural meeting of Shri Guruji birth centenary celebration was addressed by Shri Adhish Kumar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS. Shri Guruji Samagra in Telugu was released by Shri Ranga Hari. Sri Varada Chary, senior journalist and former editor of Telugu dailies presided over the function. Jagruti Prakashan Trust conducted a day-long seminar on Shri Guruji'sthoughts on various national and social topics at Jagruti Bhavan.

Sri Bandaru Sadasiva Rao, working president of Shri Guruji Birth Centenary Celebration Committee and Sri Bhagaiahji, Sah Kshetra Pracharak, went to Warangal and Chennur to participate in the functions. In the programme held at Nandyal more than 755 noted personalities participated. The College students programme in Ananthapur was a great success as it was attended by 1,200 students and lecturers. Special programmes were conducted for women in Nandyal, Kurnool and other Vibhag Centers. Saints and Mathadhipatis? meeting was held in Bhagyanagar. Swami Abhinavodananda and Swami Nrusimha Bharati of Pushpagiri Peeth guided the audience.

Meetings of caste leaders were planned. Sri R. Krishnaiah, a noted backward castes leader of Andhra Pradesh, participated in the meeting. Sri Mallepalli Laxmaiah, organiser of Dalit Research Center, participated in the Palamur Samarasata Meeting as chief guest where Shri Mohan Bhagawat was the chief speaker. Sri Laxmaiah said that dalits are Hindus. We have to live together, but Hindus have to keep an eye on the problems of dalits. A training camp was conducted for the artists who participated in celebration functions for cultural activities.

The Hindu Sammelans were combined with religious programmes. Gayatri yajna, Sri Ram yajna and Satyanaryana Swamy Vratam were performed. It attracted women in good number. The Virat Hindu Sammelan in Hyderabad was attended by nearly 15,000 people and in Nandyal more than 18,000 people attended. Cycle and scooter rallies were also organised. Due to Virat Hindu Sammelans a spirit and a faith raised in every common Hindu.

Swami Satyamitranand Giri participated in Gosha Mahal Virat Hindu Sammelan and blessed the audience. Prior to it, he visited a Sewa Basti Gudi Malkapur near Mehadipatnam and went to a temple in Harijan Basti and offered prayers. The Basti people were happy by his visit. More than two-dozen leading saints of the state participated in different programmes.

Shri Sudhanshu Maharaj participated in the Asifnagar (Bhagyanagar) programme and blessed the audience. In his blessings he said that we have to inculcate spirituality, brotherhood, helping nature in children from their childhood. By this we can mould them as good citizens. He reminded that Sri Guruji with great courage saved many Hindus at the time of partition. The soldiers who are saviors of this country are not doing jobs they are performing their Dharma.

Sri Satyapadananda Prabhu in his blessings at Shameerpet Virat Hindu Sammelan said that ?OM? is the main power for the world. This shrusti came from prakruti. Hindu Dharma is prakruti dharma. Swami Vivekananda propagated this message to the world. We should feel proud for being a Hindu. We have to unite. Sri Guruji gave a call to all of us to come out from untouchability in Hindu society and stand one. Send your children to RSS shakhas to learn patriotism.

In his blessing Sri Prabhudas at Goshamahal stadium Hindu sammelan said our Bharatiya culture is flourishing since thousands of years. Even though we have different languages, the meaning is one. We can see different branches but the trunk is one, in the same way we are one. Now onwards we have to stretch our vision towards social harmony. We have to eradicate untouchability from the society. We keep away from a Harijan but when he converts to Christian we hug him. We hug Harijans it is better for the society. Then there is no need to hug non-Hindus. We are brothers who took birth in India. Our ancestors may have done wrongs we have to rectify it and realize it. Our Harijan brothers should not fall in the trap of political leaders and they have to try to understand our feelings. Political revolution may come in one day but social revolution will take time up to that we should be on work.

Swami Satyamitranand Giri presided over the Virat Hindu Sammelan in Gosha Mahal stadium. In his speech he said we are the children of Bharat Mata so we are brothers then where is the question of untouchability. If it is somewhere we should eradicate it. We should be alert to save Hindu Dharma. We have to remember the sacrifices of our national heroes like Rana Pratap, Shivaji and Bhagat Singh. We have to get inspiration from them. Our Indian Government has to take firm steps to curb terrorism in our country. But unfortunately our government is not able to punish the terrorist who attacked the Parliament. We should elect the government, which safeguards the country and Indians. We should donate one-day salary for the sake of country by which poor people may get some assistance. He added that a Bharatiya lives for Dharma not for food. To save this country from political bats we have to follow Guruji'spreachings.
