The 12th Bhaurao Deoras Sewa Samman has been presented to Shri Ashok Bhagat of Vikas Bharati, Gumla (Jharkhand), and Swami Vishuddhanand Saraswati of Shivanand Ashram, Dantewada. The Samman consists of a cheque of Rs 51,000, a shawl, a coconut, a memento, a citation and an angvastramam each.

Presenting the Samman in Varanasi on January 14, Shri Suresh Soni, Sahsarkaryavah of RSS, said a Vanvasi has more sanskars compared to a person living in a posh colony of a city. The Vanvasi may not have sufficient education but he knows values of life better. ?If you go to the door of a Vanvasi at midnight, he will certainly ask you for food. But if you ring the door bell of a person living in a posh colony of a city at midnight he will make you run terming you an idiot person,? said Shri Soni.

Shri Rajnath Singh, BJP national president, said politics should build a strong nation. It should not divide the society in the name of religion, caste and community.  (FOC)
