Inaugurating the 26th annual conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad at Pandalam, (The birthplace of Lord Ayyappa) RSS ideologue and Bharatiya Vichar Kendram, Director, Padmashri P. Parameswaran said that growth of Islamic terrorism is killing Kerala'scultural uniqueness. ?Athiest communists and one-god semitic religions destroyed the rich diversity of Keraliya culture and in the vacuum created, terrorism has raised its ugly head.

Islamic terrorism is rapidly spreading in Kerala, as elsewhere in the globe. Unlike other religions, only Nabi has used weapons and war to propagate Islam. While the flag of Saudi Arabia contains the blood-thirsty sword, we in Bharat, have in our flag the ?Dharma Charka? of Emperor Ashoka, who forsake everything for establishing a ?Dharmarajya?. Parameswaran continued that the Islamisation of Kerala has a historical background, as in 18th century, Tippu Sulthan came with the war-cry of Islam or death by beheading.

?The CPM science wing Kerala Shastra Sahitya Parishad (KSSP), says that Muslims have achieved remarkably in Kerala educationally and monetarily, but terrorists arrested are having high technical qualifications. There is no connection between illiteracy and terrorism, as many claim. Moreover Islamic militant outfits are buying land near coastal route and uninhabited islands, at enormous rates, naturally for extremist activities. The world'spoorest nation is Bangladesh but three crores of Bangladeshis are in Bharat and they are indulging in terrorist activities sponsored by ISI.?

Parameswaranji blamed both the Congress led UDF and CPM led LDF for encouraging and protecting perpetuators of terrorism.

?The Kerala Assembly in a special session passed an unanimous resolution for the release of Islamic terrorist Madahani and handed it to President Kalam and don'tbe surprised, if it does it once again such method will be adapted for the release of Afzal.? Concluding his speech, Parameswaranji said the ABVP has a great role to play in our campuses for developing public opinion against terrorism, especially in the contest of Islamic terrorism. ABVP national secretary K.N. Reghunandan, state president S. Manu, state secretary V.P. Rajeevan and Vinod shared the dais.
