Pakistan'srole in instigating and using the Maoist elements in Nepal against India is confirmed by none other than the Nepal'sMaoist leader, Prachanda. The ISI (Inter Service Intelligence) approached him ?time and time again? for supplying of weapons and using the Maoist movement as cover-up for its unholy plans against India. The ISI is planning of fomenting trouble in Jammu and Kashmir and in Afghanistan through the Taliban. Although Prachanda claimed that he rejected the offer because it would have been against the ?self-respect? of the Nepalese people but the reality is that Kathmandu has become the safe haven for the terrorists. The ISI is accused of many vices, as it runs ?a state within a state?, subverts elected governments and supports the Taliban.

Congress confusion on Anti-Conversion Bill
The Himachal Pradesh government is examining carefully the Anti-Conversion Bill that whether it should become a law or not. The Congress government in the hilly state is exploring all possibilities and conducting a thorough study in all related aspects of such Legislation.Archbishop, Stanislaus Fernandes, Secretary General of the Bishops? Conference of India, said, ?it is a matter of concern that this is another state in our secular India that is mulling over a ban on forced conversion. It is especially worrying.? The strange thing is that Congress is opposing the Bill in Rajasthan whereas it was the Congress that had introduced such Anti-Conversion Bill first in the country, in Madhya Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. But now, under the leadership of Smt. Sonia Gandhi the party is dithering away from the nationalist path and is playing in the hands of Christian and Muslim communal elements as Hindu elements within the party are sidelined.

Senet'seditor-in-chief in soup
One of the CIS countries, the Azerbaijan is also facing a situation like Denmark where the Azeri Prosecutor General'sOffice has initiated a criminal case following the publication of an article in the Senet newspaper insulting the Prophet Muhammad. The Azeri Prosecutor General'sOffice has called Senet'seditor-in-chief Samir Sedagetoglu and the article's(entitled Europe And US) writer Rafik Tagi to the Prosecutor General'sOffice (PGO). It has issued an official warning to them that the newspaper must withdraw the article immediately. Simultaneously, the PGO has filed a criminal case against the editor-in-chief for using one'sposition to incite ethnic, racial and religious hatred.
