Jammu and Kashmir State organising secretary of VHP, Surender Singh passed away in New Delhi on May 25. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital. According to Shri Vinod Bansal, media incharge of Indraprastha Vishwa Hindu Parishad (IVHP), the 57-year-old Surender Singh was a person who lost his parents in childhood. After doing graduation he became a Sangh pracharak and took the tough task against militancy in Punjab where he was deputed along with 20 other pracharaks. Basically he was born in Chhapra district of Bihar and had been presently working as state organising secretary of VHP for the last one year. He was cremated with full honour in Delhi in the presence of various dignitaries and representatives of other organisations. Delhi Prant Pracharak Shri Perm Kumar, Dharmacharya Pramukh of VHP Shri Jiweshwar Mishra, IVHP president Shri Om Prakash Singhal, Shri Roshanlal Gorakhpuria and Shri Karuna Prakash of IVHP were among the prominent persons who paid tribute to Surender Singh.  (FOC)
