RSS Sarsanghachalak Shri K.S. Sudarshan performed the bhoomipoojan and unveiled the foundation stone plaque of Madan Mohan Kalawati Sarraf Saraswati Vidya Mandir and Radhavallabh Katoridevi Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Mathura on March 27. Speaking on the occasion, he said there is much difference between the western and Indian education system. ?The western education system is fully depended on the government whereas the Indian education system is depended on the society. After independence our dependence on the government for education is due to the continuation of British mentality. It can help in completing the formal education but cannot ensure man-making,? he said. Talking about the government schools, Shri Sudarshan said no matter the government schools have now spread up to the village level, the true education is yet to reach there. In such a situation, it is difficult to expect samskars from such schools.

The Sarsanghachalak said the Vidya Bharati schools may be short in number, but they have ensured an all-round development of children. He said the man-making is possible only through samskar-centred education, which is provided by Vidya Bharati-run schools.

Presiding over the function, Tridandi Swami Shri Narayan, all India president of Gauriya Math, said the country does not lack resources but there is a need to use them in right manner. He said the Vidya Bharati is using the social resources in right manner and the education being imparted in Vidya Bharati schools would lead the new generation to the right path. He stressed the need for increasing the number of Vidya Bharati schools so that the maximum number of new generation can be provided with healthy and patriotic education. He assured his full cooperation to Vidya Bharati in its all activities. Shri Shyamlal, Kshetriya Organising Secretary of Vidya Bharati, Shri Nekshyam Shamsheri, Kshetra Sanghachalak, Shri Ramlal, Kshetra Pracharak, Shri Chandrapal Tewari, Sah-Prant Sanghachalak, Shri Rakeshji, Prant Pracharak and other senior workers of Vidya Bharati were also present on the occasion.
