Symposium on impact of demographic imbalance on Vanvasis

Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram organised a three-day national symposium on impact of demographic imbalance on Vanvasis. Akhil Bharatiya Sahsampark Pramukh of RSS, Shri Indresh Kumar, former union minister, Shri Arvind Netam and Dr Jitendra Bajaj were among the prominent speakers at the symposium. Shri Indresh Kumar emphasised the need to formulate an action plan to counter the dangers developed before Vanvasis due to large-scale conversion by Christian missionaries. Shri Vijay Kapoor, former Lt. Governor of Delhi, expressed concern over the attitude of Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on the Supreme Court judgment regarding IMDT Act. Lt. General (retd.) N.S. Malik said that demographic imbalance near the border was a grave threat to national security. Shri Jagdevram Oraon, national president of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, Shri Gunwant Singh Kothari, organising secretary, Shri Madhubhai Kulkarni, veteran Sangh Pracharak, Shri Dinesh Kumar, Uttar Kshetra Pracharak and Shri Bajaranglal Gupt, Uttar Kshetra Sanghchalak, were also present at the symposium.
