Uttaranchal unit of Sanskrit Bharati organised a ten-day Sanskrit teachers? training camp in Rishikesh. Teachers from every district of the state participated in the camp. They were taught special techniques of teaching Sanskrit language through the medium of Sanskrit. Inaugurating the camp, Swami Chidananda Saraswati Muni said that Sanskrit was not just a language but a language of the soul, which destroyed the ills of the mind. ?Sanskrit is the pride and glory of our nation. Sanskrit, samskar and service should flow in every nook and corner of the world and institutions like Sanskrit Bharati can do this,? he said. He stressed the need to encourage Sanskrit and create a unified and strong India. ?The modern education makes a person knowledgeable in acquiring talent and skill but lacks in developing virtue and wisdom. Sanskrit language revolutionises one and makes one a reformed man. Every word in the language is self-explanatory and pregnant with meaning and no teacher is required to explain it further.? Dr Budha Dev Sharma, Shri Prakash Pant, Radha Mohan Das, Prakash Joshi, Vikramdev, Veru Prasad and Khagendra Prasad were also present on the occasion.
