S.S. Mahadevan turns 60

Senior journalist Shri S.S. Mahadevan has turned 60. Vijay Bharatam, a nationalist Tamil weekly from Chennai, organised a function to celebrate his 60th birthday. Speaking at the function, Swami Vimoorthananda Maharaj, editor of Ramakrishna Vijayam, said that one should lead his life like salt, which never shows its resistance in the food; but no food can do away with it. ?Mahadevan leads such an exemplary life,? he said. Shri Mahadevan maintains an e-group in which he has been pasting five positive and inspiring news stories on every Amavasya and Poornima day. A total of 65 such parts have already been pasted so far. Thanking the gathering, Shri Mahadevan requested the participants to actively participate in social issues by joining his e-group.
