What makes the protest by the working women significant is that they are part of the medium and as such have more power than others to cleanse it from within. Their sustained campaign, even within the constraints of job safeguarding, could egg on the managers and proprietors to wake up and rethink on the long-term damage they are doing to the society in pursuing a policy of pure money-making. In it, the DJU needs both compliments and support.
