Baba Saheb Apte birth centenary concludes in West Bengal

?Hindus should be aware of their rich cultural tradition. They are fortunate that they are inheritors of this valuable legacy from their forefathers and should feel proud of that,? said Shri Sushanta Kumar Chatterji, retired Chief Justice of Orissa High Court. He was speaking at the concluding ceremony of Baba Saheb Apte birth centenary celebration in Kolkata on September 26. Acharya Vishnukant Shastri, former Governor of Uttar Pradesh, was the chief guest and he spoke on cultural nationalism. Shri Bansilal Sonee, Sampark Pramukh of Poorva Kshetra, highlighted several aspects of Baba Saheb'slife including his total dedication, strong determination, intense love and profound respect for Hindu cultural heritage and Sanskrit language. A booklet containing the Bengali translation of the speech delivered by RSS Sarkaryavah, Mohanrao Bhagwat at the inaugural ceremony of Baba Saheb Apte birth centenary celebration on September 6, 2003, was also released at the function. The booklet also contains the Bengali translation of Thakur Ram Singh'sspeech on Vishwawyapi Hindi Sanskriti. (FOC)
