Concluding ceremony of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram'sgolden jubilee is being organised in Delhi from October 6 to 10. Over 2,500 people belonging to all Vanvasi communities of the country will participate in the function, which will be inaugurated by Swami Satyamitranand. Mahashya Dharmapal, Managing Director of MDH industry, will be the chief guest. The concluding ceremony will be held at Shri Ram Vatika (Ajmal Khan Park) in Karol Bagh at 3.00 o?clock on October 10 in which RSS Sarsanghchalak, Shri K.S. Sudarshan and Shankracharya Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati will participate.
Talking to mediapersons, Shri Jagdevram Oraon, president, Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram said that the function would have representation of all 460 Vanvasi communities of the country. Besides three office-bearers each from all the 260 districts in which the Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram has established contact during its special mass-contact drive in the golden jubilee year, the district organising secretaries, Mahila Pramukh and other senior workers will also attend the meet. Leaders of various organisations, working among Vanvasis, have also been invited to take part in the meeting, enabling them to understand the Kalyan Ashram closely. He said that both the Vanvasis and nagarvasis will sit together to discuss the problems of Vanvasis.
