Swayamsevaks receiving training at the third-year Sangh Shiksha Varg (OTC) held in Reshim Bagh, Nagpur, got an opportunity to see from close quarters the different service activities being undertaken by the Sangh Swayamsevaks in different spheres. A tree-plantation ceremony was held at the Varg on June 5, which is celebrated worldwide as the Environment Day. The ceremony began with Shri Mohan Bhagwat, RSS Sarkaryavah, planting a sapling in the premises of the Smriti Mandir. Later, all the Swayamsevaks planted saplings in the entire premises. A Matrishakti Sammelan was also organised at the Varg on June 6, in which over 300 women, associated with different service projects being undertaken by Sangh Swayamsevaks in various Seva bustis, participated. Shri H.V. Seshadri, Akhil Bharatiya Pracharak Pramukh, and Shri Bajranglal Gupt, Sarvadhikari of the Varg addressed the Sammelan. Later, the women served meals at the Varg, which was called Matrihaste bhojan. The women also had sahabhoj at the Varg.
