Sangh Samachar Hemant Soman is no more

Veteran freedom fighter of Goa Liberation Movement and former RSS Pracharak, Narayan Lakshman, popularly known as Hemant Soman, passed away in Pune following a massive heart attack. He was 80. Hemant Soman was Nagar Pracharak in Nashik. During the mid 1956, wearing the Portuguese dress, he climbed at the Secretariat Tower in Panaji and hoisted the Indian tricolour. Later he was arrested and put behind the bars. He dedicated his whole life to the society and participated in various welfare activities.
