UPSC NDA 2 Result 2026 is expected to be announced by the second week of October, with the result PDF containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates
NEW DELHI: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to announce the NDA & NA II result by the second week of October on the official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the NDA 2 exam can check their result only online. The NDA 2 result is generally released in PDF format. The result PDF will contain the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified in the written examination and can move ahead to the next stage of the selection process. Candidates do not need to wait for an individual scorecard to know whether they have qualified.
The UPSC NDA 2 examination 2026 was held on September 13 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy and the Indian Naval Academy.
Once UPSC publishes the result of NDA 2, candidates can follow these steps to check their qualifying status:

The NDA 2 Result 2026 PDF will open on the screen
Use Ctrl + F on a computer or the search option on a mobile device to find your roll number
Download the PDF and keep a copy for future reference
The official cut-off is released separately and is different from the result PDF. Candidates can compare their expected marks with the previous year’s cut-off once official data is available. The NDA 2 cut-off 2026 will be known only after UPSC completes the selection process. The NDA 2 written examination cut-off is based on factors such as the difficulty level of the paper, number of candidates and available vacancies.
The written examination is only the first major stage of the NDA selection process. Candidates who qualify in the NDA 2 written exam will move on to the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, provided they meet the required eligibility conditions. The SSB process looks at different aspects of a candidate’s personality and suitability for a career as an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. It includes assessments related to communication, reasoning, leadership, decision-making and overall personality.
Candidates who qualify for the SSB stage should keep checking the official recruitment portals for details about SSB registration, interview dates and required documents. It is also important to remember that clearing the NDA written examination does not mean final selection. Candidates have to clear the SSB process and meet the required medical and other eligibility conditions before final admission.
UPSC has not officially confirmed the NDA 2 Result 2026 date. The second week of October is only the expected timeline and should not be treated as the final result date.
