The Government of Telangana has formally announced the launch of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, scheduled to take place on December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, Hyderabad.
The two-day international event will host delegates from India and abroad and is being organised on a scale comparable to the World Economic Forum at Davos. The participants include industry leaders, technocrats, academicians, international institutional representatives, and noted personalities from the sports and film sectors.
The Global Summit 2025 will feature 27 specialised panel sessions, with discussions spanning energy, green mobility, IT and semiconductors, healthcare, education, tourism, agriculture, urban infrastructure, social welfare, gig economy, women entrepreneurship, and start-ups.

Representatives from the World Health Organization, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, as well as TERI, BCG, Micron India, Hitachi Energy, O2 Power, Greenko, Apollo Hospitals, IIT Hyderabad, NASSCOM, Safran, DRDO, Skyroot, Dhruva Space, Amul, Laurus Labs, GMR, Tata Realty, Kotak Bank, Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, Deloitte, CapitaLand, Swiggy, AWS, RED. Health, PVR INOX, Sikhya Entertainment, Taj Hotels are scheduled to participate in the summit.
Sports figures including PV Sindhu, Anil Kumble, Pullela Gopichand, Gagan Narang and Jwala Gutta will join the Olympic Gold Quest session, while film industry members such as SS Rajamouli, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sukumar, Guneet Monga and Anupama Chopra will participate in a discussion on soft power and entertainment.

According to the release, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has been overseeing the preparations, conducting multiple review meetings to ensure that the summit is organised on par with the annual World Economic Forum at Davos. Ministers and senior officials are coordinating logistics and hospitality arrangements for incoming delegates.
On December 9 , the state government will release the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document, outlining a roadmap for Telangana to evolve into a USD 3-trillion economy by 2047, with emphasis on investment, technology partnerships, and innovation-driven development.
